Balànite is a village in Northern Bulgaria, Gabrovo municipality, Gabrovo district.
The village of Balanite is located about 7 km southeast of the center of the regional town of Gabrovo and about 3 km east of its southern district Lyubovo. It is located in the northern branches of the Shipchen mountain, on the eastern slopes of a small hollow, open to the west, through which flows the small right tributary of the river Yantra Balandovski dol. Along the course of the tributary, within the boundaries of the village, the altitude rises from about 635 m to about 645-650 m, and on the hills on both sides it rises to about 670 m. A municipal road leads from the Kryakovtsi district of Gabrovo through the village of Bogdanchovtsi to the village of Balanite.
